1. The tournament will be played as a
double game round robin from December 16th to 20th in
Sheraton Hotel to Bilbao. Every day two games shall be played, beginning at
6:30 PM., with a break of 15 minutes (from the end of the last game). 2. Tournament Director and Chief Arbiter
will make the drawing of lots on October 8th and immediately publish them on
tournament’s official website (www.ajedrezbilbao.com).

rd.: 16th: 6-1, 5-2 y 4-3. ·

rd.: 17th: 6-4, 5-3 y 1-2. ·

rd.: 17th: 4-6, 3-5 y 2-1. ·

rd.: 18th: 2-6, 3-1 y 4-5. ·

rd.: 18th: 6-2, 1-3 y 5-4. ·

rd.: 19th: 6-5, 1-4 y 2-3. ·

rd.: 19th: 5-6, 4-1 y 3-2. ·

rd.: 20th: 6-3, 2-4 y 1-5. 3. Play will be governed by the FIDE Laws
of Chess, except where they are overridden by the following rules. 4. Players are not allowed to record the
moves. 5. Players are not allowed to agree draw
without arbiter's permission. In case both players request it to him, the
arbiter will make his decision after consulting with a technical assistant. 6. At the start of the game each player has
twenty-five minutes on his clock. Before a player makes his move ten seconds
will be added to his remaining time. 7. The game will be played on an empty
board. 8. The time will be controlled using a
digital clock. 9. The players will type the move on the
keyboard, typing the initial and the final squares of the move (for instance,
e2e4), press enter, stop his/her own clock and start opponent’s clock. 10. The move shall be considered to be
finished once the player press enter. 11. The win will score 3 points, the draw 1
and the defeat 0. 12. Tie-breaks:
13. The players may not leave the playing
area of the playing hall and may not watch the position on the monitors. 14. In case of a claim, the ruling of Chief
